Subject: Georgetown MAF
Hi Bob. Wanted to give you some
feedback and news. I met with the school and nursing co-odinator and
guidance director Friday re the MAF. It made a lot of difference to meet
with them and become more "real" to them in regards to what we were
offering. Before I left the school i had been presented with the
opportunity to help the Peer Leadership group in their effort to raise 500
dollars to buy winter clothes for an area family with 4 school age children
whose father was disabled and the mother was working 2 jobs. I accepted
their request to help and returned an hour later with a check for 200.00. Needless
to say they were delighted and I can see that word of mouth on this will help
make us more "real" as a resource for them in the future. John
